Donald B. Dixon, widely known as Zion, is a Gambian who spent most of his adult life in Europe. With the advent of a new dispensation in The Gambia, Mr. Dixon made the significant decision to return home and contribute to national development by investing in the hospitality industry. He is among the few Gambians who chose to bring their international experience back to their homeland, driven by a deep passion for business and a commitment to the country's growth.
Mr. Dixon’s entrepreneurial spirit began in his early school days, where his love for business first took root. In 2019, he established Zion Holdings, a multi-faceted enterprise that includes a restaurant, bakery and pastry shop, apartments, and an entertainment center complete with pool facilities.
As a dedicated family man with wives and children, Mr. Dixon, A.K.A. Zion, embodies responsibility and leadership, and his journey stands as an inspiration to others looking to invest in and develop The Gambia.
